Bonfire vs Teespring: Comparing Top Print-on-Demand Platforms

Articles Print on Demand Comparisons

I’ve compared Bonfire and Teespring, two print-on-demand platforms for creating and selling custom merchandise. Both allow creators to design and sell without inventory but they have some differences.

Bonfire is more focused on fundraising campaigns and social causes while Teespring (now Spring) is for a wider range of sellers and products.

I found Bonfire’s interface easier to use with an emphasis on t-shirts and apparel for events or charities. Spring has more customization options and more products to sell.

Pricing is different too. Bonfire takes a percentage of sales but offers free shipping on many orders. Spring charges listing fees on some products but gives sellers more control over pricing and profit margins.

I’ll dive into that more to help you decide which one is right for you.

Prodigi vs Printful: Which Print on Demand Platform Wins?

Articles Print on Demand Print on Demand Comparisons

If you want a quick answer: Printful is still one of the best print-on-demand (POD) platforms available today.

It’s more scalable, more versatile, and offers better design tools, more integrations, and a more polished user experience.

However, Prodigi remains a solid choice if you’re looking for a simpler platform with eco-conscious values and lower base product costs.

If you're not looking to scale aggressively or need fewer customization options, it can be a great fit for smaller, purpose-driven businesses.

I’ve tested both platforms in detail. What follows is a breakdown of the core features, pros and cons, and side-by-side comparisons that will help you choose the right platform for your business goals.

Printful Quick Stores: The Complete Guide for Retailers

Articles Print on Demand Printful

Printful Quick Stores, originally introduced by Printful in June 2024, offers entrepreneurs and creators a convenient way to start selling products online, without the need to use a full ecommerce platform, or a marketplace like Etsy and Amazon.

It’s similar in a lot of ways to Printify’s “Pop-Up Store” service, offering a free, all-in-one tool individuals can use to sell a range of customizable products online.

Although, personally, I’d recommend integrating Printful with at least one online marketplace or an ecommerce platform like Shopify to boost your brand’s reputation and increase sales, Quick Stores is great for beginners.

Printful Quick Stores vs Printify Pop-up Store: which is the best, most user-friendly option for selling print-on-demand products without an ecommerce platform or marketplace account?

First, I want to point out that both Printful Quick Stores, and Printify Pop-up Store aren’t the most scalable or flexible options for online retailers. Ultimately, as your business grows, you’re probably going to want to consider setting up a full store with a platform like Shopify, and integrating it with Printful or Printify.

Art Storefronts vs Squarespace: Which is Best for Artists?

Articles Ecommerce Ecommerce Comparisons Print on Demand

Art Storefronts vs Squarespace: Which is best? Ultimately, it all depends on the type of business you want to run.

Squarespace is a straightforward website builder, with beautiful templates, and plenty of handy tools if you want to sell things like courses, memberships, and subscriptions.

However, while Squarespace advertises itself as a website builder intended for creators it’s not focused exclusively on artists.

It’s also not the most robust ecommerce platform I’ve ever used. In fact, when you dive in and actually set up an account with Squarespace, you’ll find a lot of missing ecommerce capabilities.

There’s no “wish list” feature, the inventory management tools are very basic, and Squarespace doesn’t even have its own dedicated payment processor (though it integrates with others).
