When an order is ‘on hold,’ it means production has not started. The hold may be due to the order not being completed and submitted, or that there is an issue that requires attention.
Many factors impact the price of shipping. Shipping costs are explained in detail on the Printify platform and can vary depending on the product being shipped, the destination, and the print vendor fulfilling the order.
Make sure you fully understand how these elements impact your shipping expenses so you aren’t surprised by the cost.

Etsy is one of my favorite marketplace platforms both as a consumer, and a creator. It’s a great place to search for unique products and vintage items you can’t find anywhere else as a buyer.
Plus, if you’re a member of the creator economy, Etsy gives you a low-cost, convenient environment where you can connect with millions of customers, and sell a wide range of items.
However, like most ecommerce solutions, Etsy is constantly evolving. Not only does it regularly introduce new features, like the new “Etsy Gift Mode” for shoppers, but it changes its policies and conditions for sellers from time to time too.

Overall, I think Spreadshirt is one of the most flexible POD platforms for beginners. It gives you the option to sell through an existing marketplace, create your own store, or even integrate your POD tools with a range of marketplaces and platforms. For me, it’s the clear winner in this comparison.
However, if you’re an artist looking to sell high-quality prints, Society6 is a slightly more “niche-focused” solution. It has an excellent reputation for producing top-quality products, and makes it relatively easy to start earning money online.
