Maak een slimme meldingsbalk op uw WordPress-site

Nadat u de . hebt geïnstalleerd plugin op uw site, bent u klaar om uw eerste meldingsbalk te maken.

To get started, go to the WordPress admin of your site, and click on “Notification Bars” on the left side navigation. You’ll end up on the welcome screen of the plugin. Klik op de blauwe knop "Nieuwe meldingsbalk toevoegen". U kunt ook de knop bovenaan uw scherm gebruiken, of de optie "Nieuwe toevoegen" in de navigatie aan de linkerkant, onder het gedeelte Meldingsbalken.

Once you clicked on one of these options, you’ll see the screen where you can create new or edit existing notification bars.

For the first time, the form could look a bit long, but don’t worry, you don’t need the change all the settings to create a new notification bar. Actually, you can save your notification bar as it is, so let do that. Click on the blue “Save Notification Bar” button on the top or at the bottom of the page.

If everything worked fine, the notification bar will be created and you’ll be redirected to the screen where you can keep editing it. So let’s do that.

Scroll down a bit to the “Notification Bar Content” section. In the “Content” field, remove the default text and add something you’d like to display to your visitors.

Play around with all the settings you can change in the notification bar, and once you feel it’s ready to be published, go to the “Notification bar visibility” section on the right side of the page.

Vink de optie “Actief” aan en selecteer ook de juiste start- en einddatum voor zichtbaarheid.

Let’s save your changes and publish the notification bar by clicking on the blue “Save notification bar” button at the top or at the bottom of the page.

You’ll see a success message and your notification bar is now active for your visitors.
