MultCloud Review: Features

MultCloud Review

MultCloud responds to the rapidly evolving need for more organization between cloud solutions. Most of us generally have our data strewn across a variety of cloud apps, using whichever tools are the most convenient at the time, or mandated by a company.

Though deceptively simple on the service, MultCloud is one of the more intuitive apps on the market for cloud computing fans. You can connect cloud storage accounts to your profile from more than 30 different providers (excluding iCloud)

You can also view, arrange, and manage files from a centralized digital dashboard, generating secure sharing links when you want to invite someone to view one of your documents. The innovative cloud transfer tool allows for movement of file between apps with drag-and-drop or copy paste tools.

This means you skip the stress of having to manually download files onto a device then upload them to another cloud storage provider. Thereโ€™s also an advanced cloud sync tool for automatic syncing between different accounts. The main features of MultCloud break down into three segments:

  • Cloud file transfer
  • Cloud file sync
  • Cloud Explorer

Cloud Transfer

MultCloud Transfer is the simple solution within MultCloud which allows users to connect cloud drives and transfer or sync files from one service to another directly. You can manage online files from multiple environments under one roof, as well as renaming documents. Features of the โ€œTransferโ€ aspect of the service include:

  • Transfer across cloud drives: Migrate, copy, and move files easily from one cloud service to another with Copy and paste or drag & drop functionality. You can skip the uploading and downloading process and even use a transfer task to migrate info from one cloud to another.
  • Offline data transfer: Because the process for transferring your data runs on the MultCloud server, the process continues to work even when your device is powered off. Once you launch a data transmission, you can shut down your computer. Easy peasy.
  • Schedule transfer: If you need to set up an automatic transfer โ€“ such as at the end of each workday, you can backup data between clouds at a specific time. This can be a great way to move files from your cloud service at home to the office. Youโ€™ll even get a notification via email when the migration is complete.
  • Filter: The filter system included within MultCloud ensures you can copy specific files from one system to another. For instance, you can enter the extensions of the files you want to transfer to move all of the files of a certain type.

Cloud File Sync

The syncing functionality of MultCloud is one of itโ€™s most compelling features. Itโ€™s an easy way to ensure all of the information on one devices matches the data on another. The solutions offered in the โ€œSyncโ€ part of the service include:

  • Multi-cloud data sync: There are 7 custom options for one-way sync and two-way sync solutions to help you synchronize the files between your cloud platforms as quickly as possible. You can even choose to sync all files, just one file, or an entire folder. Plus, scheduling is included for regular interval syncing.
  • Cloud Backup and MySQL backup: MultCloud can even backup your MySQL database to other online storage environments for extra protection from disasters. You can also backup your entire cloud on one platform to another system.
  • Email notifications: The email notification function ensures youโ€™re kept informed of the results of any cloud transfer or sync process. Youโ€™ll get an instant alert if the transfer succeeds and fails, for better peace of mind.

Cloud File Manager

Aside from syncing your cloud devices and transferring information, MultCloud also helps you to organize your files and data more effectively. You can use the cloud file manager to manage all of your clouds in the same convenient place. Youโ€™ll be able to search for files, rename, delete, and adjust files, just as you would with any other platform. Features of the cloud file manager include:

  • Multi-cloud space combination: MultCloud supports users in integrating multiple storage solutions like MEGA and Dropbox in one place, for merging free cloud storage together into a larger group space. This means you have more freedom in the cloud, without the expense.
  • Cloud Explorer: The cloud explorer function helps you to search through all of your cloud documents and data from a single interface.
  • Private and public sharing: You can manage file sharing in private and public accounts across clouds from Box to FTP. You can also view and share your files from multiple cloud by viewing a single list.
  • Save shared files: When other users share files with you over Google Drive or Dropbox, you can save it directly to your cloud storage environment. Youโ€™ll be able to access saved shares in the โ€œSaved Sharesโ€ tab.

Other Bonus Features

Aside from all of the management, syncing and transferring features mentioned above, MultCloud also offer a range of constantly updating capabilities to customers. For instance, you can access:

  • Offline download: Youโ€™ll be able to download web files while offline directly to cloud storage devices like SugarSync, Flickr, and more, by entering the file URL.
  • Sub account manager: If youโ€™re running a team, or looking after a familyโ€™s data, you can create sub-accounts with different permissions. This means more people can access your cloud ecosystem, without putting your documents at risk.
  • Parallel Transmission: The parallel data transmission technology in MultCloud improves your transfer cloud rate by 200% and enables users to sync and transfer data simultaneously across most clouds. This means transfer is faster than ever.
  • Sync and transfer task management: With MultCloud, you can view and administrate cloud file transfer and syncing options in your task management interface. From there, users can view the detailed process of transferring and syncing contents from each cloud migration. You can also track the remaining time of a project.
  • Google Chrome Extension: The Extension app for Google Chrome makes it easy to access more of your files whenever you need them. You can add the extension to your Google Chrome and create new tasks to move file servers and manage all of your data in one space.

MultCloud Review: Integrations

The most beneficial aspect of Multcloud is how many cloud repositories you can use. You can integrate with over 30 cloud-based services, including:

MultCloud Review: FAQs

Last but not least, let’s answer some of the most frequently asked questions we hear about this platform before wrapping up our Multcloud review:

Does Multcloud Give You Cloud Storage Space?

No, Multcloud itself doesnโ€™t offer any storage space. The amount of storage space you have is determined by the limits of the cloud providers you use.

For instance, if you have 20GB on Google Drive and 15GB on Dropbox, you will still only have a total of 35GB.

However, Multcloud does offer a MySQL backup service. So, if any files are lost, you can restore them using Multcloud.

Is Multcloud Safe?

The idea of transferring or synchronizing essential files can be intimidating. What if a failure occurs? Will your files be lost? Etc. But with Multcloud, your files are safe. Whenever you transfer a file from one repository to another, the original file isn’t used for the transfer. Instead, a copy is made of the target file; this is what’s transferred to the other cloud service.

However, you can select the option to delete the source file. The same will occur if you choose the โ€˜move syncโ€™ option from the sync methods. But many other synchronization options won’t affect the source file.

In terms of security, Multcloud is GDPR compliant. Your personal details, such as passwords, are deleted after you use them. Afterwhich, you’ll need to use OAuth authorization to log in between accounts. You donโ€™t log in via Multcloud to access your drive services. It redirects you to the service provider instead.

Additionally, Multcloud uses a 256-bit AES Encryption SSL during all its transfers. This is considered an advanced encryption technology that protects your data against tampering, hacking, or any other malicious activity.

Who’s Multcloud Best for?

Multcloud can be used by individuals and enterprises alike.

For businesses, itโ€™s a great way to centralize all your cloud data and collaborate with different cloud users. You’ll get the best value for money out of Multcloud by combining the storage space of various cloud providers. This allows organizations and freelancers to coordinate their resources and optimize their storage space using multiple cloud providers.

It’s also perfect for hybrid working, where different people within an organization use multiple software to perform tasks in the office or elsewhere.

Lastly, thanks to its low starting cost, itโ€™s an affordable choice for solopreneurs looking to begin managing teams remotely.

MultCloud Review: Verdic

For businesses and individuals using cloud-based computing, Multcloud is worth considering. Itโ€™s one of the most cost-effective and intuitive software of its kind. Best of all, you can start today free of charge.

More specifically, hereโ€™s what we like about it:

Multcloud provides a simple way to streamline cloud computing for individuals and businesses alike. Its features make sending and synchronizing files between multiple cloud providers easy. Not to mention, with Multcloud, your data is safe.

Lastly, with the growth of the cloud, providers sometimes hold a monopoly on storage space, charging huge premiums at their discretion. Multcloud is a way to navigate cloud space that enables you to get the most bang for your buck. After all, it’s often cheaper to invest in Multcloud and dip into multiple free pots and more affordable packages offered by cloud providers than to keep shelling out for larger packages. Then you can simply combine them all on Multcloud. Whatโ€™s not to like about that?

So, are you thinking of using Multcloud? Or are you considering other cloud storage services? For instance, Cloudfuze, webdav, pcloud, or Aomei?
