Wunderkind (formerly Bounce Exchange), a leading app on the exit-intent market, is an extremely expensive choice, prices starting at $3.995 (no joke!), a price tag which might be a little out of the budget of a business that’s just starting out, therefore I have compiled a list of the best 11 Bounce Exchange alternatives.

In the following post I have compiled a top with the best plugins that will help you with this, not general email marketing tools but highly focused on ecommerce, offering numerous 3rd party service integrations and customizations.

Why Choose an Alternative to Wunderkind (formerly Bounce Exchange)

Wunderkind, which rebranded from Bounce Exchange, has shifted its focus and no longer offers exit-intent services. This change leaves businesses that relied on Bounce Exchange for exit-intent technology in need of a reliable alternative.

Choosing an alternative to Wunderkind offers several advantages. Firstly, many alternatives provide similar or superior functionalities at a fraction of the cost. These tools often come with flexible pricing plans, making them accessible to businesses of all sizes.

Secondly, many of these alternatives are designed to integrate seamlessly with popular platforms like WordPress and Shopify, ensuring versatility and ease of use.

Additionally, they offer robust customization options, allowing businesses to tailor their pop-ups and forms to align with their brand identity and specific marketing goals.

What are the Best Wunderkind Alternatives?

Because the app tracks mouse movements to determine “exit-intent,” pop-ups will only appear when your visitor is about to leave your site, so you don’t have to worry about interrupting visitors when they’re still browsing the page.

Using the app, you can build not only pop-up forms but opt-in forms in sidebars, after posts, footers, etc.

This exit intent technology application monitors mouse movement and velocity of website visitors. Using data collected, it detects when they are about to leave the site, and this is countered with timed popups designed to prevent the exit.

    1. Hi Jochen,

Bloom doesn’t has an built in exit intent option yet, but we’re expecting Elegant Themes to add this option in the future.

  1. Ah controversial pop ups! Very interesting post. Recently, my live chat provider, Visitlead, started offering an exit intent widget so I decided to give it a try and I have to say that they are very effective. A must have!

  2. Hi Catalin,

Nice article. I would also request you to give Connecto (www.connecto.io) a try. We also allow you to create Exit popups and integrate with any CRM/backend system (if you capture email/data).

There are still lot of things that we can do better and I would love your feedback.

    Regards,
    Jagmal

  3. You forgot Justuno.com! Most of these solutions only focus on email collection… there’s much to be said for social capture, as well as email capture, and of course, increasing sales conversions. Justuno does all three angles.

    1. Justuno rates are tremendously high. $208 per month for 45,000 visitors is going to price a lot of startups out of the market. Too much

      1. Hi bill,

I think maybe you read our pricing page wrong. Our pricing was never that high. Our pro plan offers up to 50k visitors for $99 a month and that’s without any quarterly or annual discount or coupons that we give out right on our site. You can generally get it for $70-80 a month with all of that and we offer far more features then the rest here.
