As an online retailer with a WordPress website, I use Elementor for its striking designs and beautiful pages. Just drag and drop things on the page and your website will be ready in no time.

But even with Elementor, you can feel the lack of some elements – some specific plugins that could make your life so much easier. This is where Crocoblock comes in. Crocoblock has the best WooCommerce plugins for Elementor.

With Crocoblock, you get an entire suite of plugins that make things so much simpler. For example, it creates the right shop page layout with a grid that isn’t possible without plugins.

It also organizes product categories highly efficiently. Plus, it has AJAX filters that let your customers find the right products quickly and easily.

Quick Verdict

To sum up my findings in a few words, if you use Elementor, Crocoblock is a must-have. It enhances the looks and capabilities of your eCommerce website.

Whether you want discount popups, product cards, product filters, or just about anything, Crocoblock will be highly useful. Plus, some Crocoblock plugins also work on Gutenberg so you can try it on the Gutenberg editor as well.

Pros and Cons of Using Crocoblock

Pros 👍

  • Fully compatible with Elementor page builder
  • Some plugins also work with Gutenberg and Bricks
  • Lifetime plans so you don’t have to pay every month
  • Comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee
  • Over 50 Elementor widgets for WooCommerce
  • Fast and efficient Ajax filters
  • Optimized plugins for faster loading

Pricing

There are four pricing plans:

  • Custom: According to the plugins you choose
  • All-inclusive: $199/year for one project. $399/year for unlimited projects
  • Freelance lifetime: $750 one time
  • Lifetime: $999 one time

When you select the Custom plan, you can add the plugins you want to the cart. Each plugin will have its own price. For example, the JetElements plugin will cost you $43/year. You won’t get JetFormBuilder in the Custom plan.

The main plugins for eCommerce are JetEngine, JetSmartFilters, JetBooking, JetWooBuilder, and JetProductGallery. If you add them all to your shopping cart, your total will be $194/year, which is close to the $199/year tab of the All-inclusive plan.

Might as well get the All-inclusive plan that lets you access other plugins for the same cost. Plus you get interactive popups in the All-inclusive plan.

While the Lifetime plan is enticing, many users complain that their customer support gets weak after the first couple of years. So I’ll recommend the yearly subscription instead of a one-time payment.

The Crocoblock Story

I like the Crocoblock plugins, but before I put my money in, I always do some investigation about the company.

I’m wary of new companies that haven’t been around for even two years. So here are some details I found about Crocoblock (if you also like to investigate before buying, like me).

Crocoblock was launched in 2014 but gained popularity in 2017 when it developed JetBlog and JetElements plugins. In 2018, it released JetEngie Beta.

By that time, Crocoblock was strictly focused on Elementor. In 2019, it shifted towards Gutenberg compatibility.

In 2020, Crocoblock released 8 dynamic templates and in 2021, it released JetFormBuilder. The Crocoblock team started with 5 members and now has 70 members.

Key Features

Enough about the history. Let’s discuss the main features of Crocoblock. The features I discuss here are available in the all-inclusive plan.

Centralized Plugin Management

There are 20 plugins in the All-inclusive plan. As an online retailer, there are 5 important plugins for eCommerce websites, as I have discussed above. And of course, you can use the other plugins too.

Managing all these plugins can be a hassle without a centralized management system. Crocoblock offers a plugin management system that you can access from your WordPress dashboard.

Just visit the Crocoblock menu on your WordPress dashboard and access the plugin manager.

It’s easy to activate or deactivate a plugin from this console. You can also update your plugins or change their settings.

Product filtering

If you have a store with thousands of products, you don’t want your customers to be boggled by the number of choices.

Whenever I visit an eCommerce website, I always check the filters. Whether it’s the price, size, colors, or any other feature. Your customers need an easy way to find the right product and filters do that.

You can do that on your website by adding extra categories and AJAX filters. Your website can have a search feature that scans titles as well as descriptions.

For example, if you have a t-shirt store and someone is looking for a beer mug design on a t-shirt, the search feature will look for all t-shirts that have “beer mug” mentioned in their title as well as description.

Support for Multiple Layouts

Creating a basic store on Shopify is easy. And it works great too, I have nothing against it – in fact, I have two Shopify stores. But when you have Crocoblock with Elementor, you have multiple layouts for your eCommerce website. And that’s something that stands out and demands attention.

My two Shopify stores look good too. But I especially pride myself on my Elementor website because of its layout. If you have an Instagram feed that you want to show up on your eCommerce website, make sure you use the right plugin.

If you keep posting regular deals or fast-selling products on Instagram, it will be a good idea to showcase your feed on your website, and JetElements can do that for you.

Support for Page Building

You can create a fully functional eCommerce website with Crocoblock. Use the JetWooBuilder plugin to replace the default WooCommerce pages. Elementor comes with a WooCommerce builder. You can use Crocoblock on it to give it a new and exciting look.

There are so many types of pages you can build with it. For example, you can develop a cart page, checkout page, product page, shop page, and so many others.

You’ll get over 65 WooCommerce widgets that you can add to the new pages.

Popups

Popups aren’t always annoying. Let’s say you’re visiting a retail eCommerce website and a popup tells you that a discount code just became active. Not so bad now, is it?

If you implement them right, popups can be a huge attraction on your website and can help you close a sale more successfully. Popups can be triggered by actions such as page load, page scroll, inactivity, exit intent, and others.

Tips for Using Crocoblock for Your Retail Ecommerce Website

I’ve been using Crocoblock for some years and here are some tips I have for you if you’re a new user.

  • Use AJAX filters. Crococblock AJAX filters are super cool. You can let your customers filter the feed by price, category, and product attributes, or just search for the name or features of the product.
  • Display images creatively. You can use JetProductGallery for it. It lets your users switch between images quickly and easily. It also lets users zoom into the image to see finer details.
  • Use popups. You can use popups to give discounts to your users or to inform them of the current deals. However, make sure you don’t use too many because popups can quickly become annoying.

Customer Support

While Crocoblock offers decent support, I’ve heard some users complain about limited support with lifetime plans.

Lifetime plans are the ones where you pay once and access the plugins forever. This is why I use the All-inclusive plan. So far, I haven’t had any problems with support.

I didn’t require any technical assistance with my plugins. I did, however, have a billing issue once which was resolved quickly. In my opinion, Crocoblock offers good customer support for the All-inclusive plan.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I’d say, yes, give it a try. It can turn a basic WordPress website into an awesome one. The suite of plugins by Crocoblock isn’t just about aesthetics but also usability.

From enhanced search abilities to booking integrations and from ease in the creation of marketplace listings to enhancing shop page layouts, there is a lot you can do with Crocoblock.

If you don’t want to buy the whole suite, try one plugin at a time. And the best part is that you can get your money back in 30 days if you don’t like the plugins. So that’s a safe bet.
