REES46 Review: Strong Personalization and Automation in an Ecommerce Marketing Suite

Whether you're attempting to accumulate more customers or simply trying to get feedback from your customers, you generally have to piece together marketing and ecommerce apps and tools to make it all happen.

However, REES46 has taken a different approach, bringing together everything from smart product recommendations to triggered emails and customer segmentation to real-time analytics.

I'm always looking for the next best ecommerce marketing suite, because even platforms like Shopify force you to work with a hodgepodge of different apps.

That's not the case here, so keep reading our REES46 review to learn more.

Standout REES46 Features

Intuitive Product Recommendations

The product recommendations are based on several parameters, meaning that these recommendations change depending on your niche, the people who come to your store and what that person has searched and bought in the past. Ready-to-use niches: apparel, home appliances, cosmetics, FMCG, goods for pets, goods for kids and jewelry. For example, in cosmetics REES46 product recommendations take into account customer's hair and skin type and condition, and even customer's predisposition for any allergies.

Triggered Emails, Email Marketing and Push Notifications

All of these notifications tend to combine to make the perfect marketing engine. Let's start with triggered emails. These have pre-built workflows. Therefore, the emails go out based on some of the following:

  • After regular purchases
  • Price changes
  • When a customer has been inactive for awhile
  • After an abandoned cart
  • If you'd like to thank a customer for a purchase
  • Many more

The marketing emails are mainly automated, and they can be sent out with product recommendations from your store.

Finally, the web push notifications are less intrusive than large popups, text messages and even emails. Whether you're sending out information about new products, promotions, reminders or back-in-stock items, web push notifications seem to be the new way to grab customer attention. Even if a customer leaves your website.

Segmentation for Customers

The segmentation tools expand the personalization possibilities, and it all ties into areas like email marketing and push notifications. This way, a female customer doesn't get a promotional offer that's only meant for men. You can segment visitors by: gender, age, shoes and clothing size, pets, kids, brand preferences, spendings, regular purchases, allergies and others.

Beautiful Analytics

The REES46 dashboard looks organized and smooth, allowing basic and advanced users a chance to learn and understand what to expect for the future. Overall, the point of the real-time analytics is to stop making assumptions.

REES46 Pricing

Upon registering your store with REES46, a 30-day free trial begins. The good part about the REES46 pricing is that you really only pay for what you use. So if you'd like product recommendations on your site but you have no need for email marketing, you can decide to skip out on email marketing to save some money.

Each product offering is broken up into three plans: Small, Medium and Large. Plans are automatically adjusted based on your monthly revenue.

So, companies with less than $25,000 in monthly revenue would be in the Small plan. $25,000 to $75,000 is the Medium plan and $75,000 is the Large one.

Let's take a look at some of the products (with varying plan levels) below:

  • Product recommendations – Starting at $49 per month for smaller companies. The medium plan is $149 per month, and the large plan is $249 per month. The product recommendations offer nine scenarios for presenting new items to customers.
  • Subscription popups – $12 per month for the Small plan, $29 for the Medium plan and $39 for the Large plan.
  • Triggered emails – With 10 triggered email scenarios the plans go for $49 /mo or CPS 4.6% (Small plan,) $149 /mo or CPS 4.6% (Medium plan) and $249 /mo or CPS 4.6% (Large plan).
  • Email marketing – This includes product recommendations. The Small plan starts at $49 /mo or CPS 2%. The Medium plan is $149 /mo or CPS 2%. The Large plan is $249 /mo or CPS 2%.
  • Reputation management – Here's a product that utilizes feedback and reviews. The Small plan goes for $29 per month. The Medium plan is $49 per month, and the Large is $79 per month.
  • Product analytics – Small plan: $49 per month. Medium: $149 per month. Large: $249 per month.

All of this information may seem a bit confusing, but it's all meant to make ecommerce marketing more affordable.

For example, if you went with the product recommendations and subscription popups in the Small plan, you'd only be paying $61 per month.

The maximum you'll pay for the Small plan is $273 per month, and that includes all products. The maximum for the Medium plan is $727 per month. Finally, the Large plan tops out at $1193 per month.

The XL Plan

Some companies are too big for the plans I just talked about. In that case, REES46 has an XL plan for ecommerce brands with more than $200,000 in monthly revenue. You'll have to contact the company for more personalized pricing.

Web Push Notifications

An additional tool/service involves web push notifications, which are quickly becoming one of the best ways to get people back to your site. The pricing goes as follows:

  • 500k messages in a batch – $1299
  • 50k messages – $199
  • 5k messages – $29

REES46 Advertising

The final area you might end up paying for is general advertising. Two options are available:

  • Abandoned carts remarketing – 4.6% for all sales that REES46 helps you make.
  • Laser-targeted ads – Starting at $0.1 per click.

REES46 Support

Although nowadays it's not that impressive to see constant support, it's nice when you know that support team is going to know what they're talking about and not have to keep communicating with you all of the time for one problem.

The upside to the REES46 support is that they have a documentation center with articles for everything from manual integration to email marketing and troubleshooting to push notifications. The documentation has pictures and steps for even the most tech-challenged users.

It looks like REES46 has both email and chat support, but I haven't been able to find anything in terms of phone support. That's not a huge deal in today's day and age, but I know some folks still like to call in. Other than that you'll find free educational materials and whitepapers. I also enjoy that the REES46 blog covers tip and tutorials (as opposed to just system updates) for its customers.

REES46 pre-built integrations

REES46 has ready-to-use extensions for Shopify, Magento, PrestaShop,OpenCart and CS-Cart. The team has been working on several more extensions. So if manual integration is not for you drop them a line and tell about your CMS.

Who Should Consider REES46?

Due to the fact that REES46 has so many plans and products, they can accommodate any size ecommerce store. For example, a small business might only be able to afford email marketing right now, but that could change in the future. A larger business might want every product from REES46. Either of these scenarios is possible.

Therefore, I'd recommend REES46 to any ecommerce store looking to take the next step with marketing. The pricing is right, and the flexibility is even better.
